Microcement
Microcement is a thin, cement-based coating that creates a smooth, seamless, contemporary finish. With no grout lines and a subtle, handcrafted look, it's a popular choice for modern interiors.
Where it works well
- Kitchens, living areas and hallways
- Bathrooms and wet rooms
- Retail, hospitality and showroom spaces
- Offices and reception areas
- Walls, worktops and stairs as well as floors
Benefits
- Continuous, seamless surface
- Thin application, so it can often go over existing floors
- Modern, understated look in a range of colours and textures
- Hard-wearing when properly sealed
- Easier to keep clean than tiled floors with grout lines
Done properly
Microcement is a finishing system, and the result depends on the preparation of the surface, careful application and correct sealing. Our experience in floor prep and screeding means the foundations are right before the finish goes on.
